WHAT IS THIS ONLINE COURSE? WHO IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE? AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
This is a series of videos designed for any person who wishes to learn the basics of AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) We recommend it for ages four years old and up! Once you sign up you will receive a code for three months access. (Twelve weeks). If you wish to purchase additional weeks, we offer that at a substantial discount. Sign up anytime!
IS THIS COURSE A SINGLE ONLINE VIDEO OR MULTIPLE?
The Just the Basics Introductory video series is for anyone who wishes to learn American Sign Language. There are several modules which show the basics of ASL in short and easy to follow lessons. All of them comprise lessons that are an introduction to ASL vocabulary and grammatical concepts.
Perfect for school age students as well as those who wish to incorporate ASL in to the workplace.
HOW DO I REGISTER AND START THE COURSE?
Once you register on this website you will receive an email with instructions, including the url and special code to access your video course. If you purchase a course that includes supplemental learning materials, these will be mailed to you. (The online courses will start early August 2011).

We are offering to home educators a Homeschool package which consists of the following:
The Just the Basics Introductory Course for a 12 week session at the price of $29.99 (Each additional family member will be $9.99)
American Sign Language Folders for each child who signs up for the course.
A certificate of completion to be mailed to your home.
I WORK IN A DENTAL / MEDICAL ATMOSPHERE, IS THIS COURSE APPROPRIATE FOR ME? MY OFFICE STAFF?
We recognize that many people in the medical or dental fields are interested in communicating with their patients. We offer the several options for EMS and medical professionals, such as the SIGN LANGUAGE FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS SERIES (in addition to the introductory course here).
I WISH TO PURCHASE THIS ONLINE COURSE FOR A GROUP- LIBRARY / AFTER SCHOOL ORGANIZATION / SCOUTS or SCHOOL. HOW MAY I DO THAT?
We offer a group fee that allows use of this content on your organization's computers. The fee is monthly. If you are a Scout Troop, we can make a group plan specific for your needs.
